Three years after her cancer diagnosis, Anne is celebrating something she never takes for granted: another day.
As both a UPMC employee and cancer patient, she experienced the compassion of the team at UPMC Hillman Cancer Center throughout her treatment journey. From her physicians and nurses to the medical assistants and front desk staff, every interaction was marked by empathy, support, and genuine care.
Today, she's thankful for the people who helped her through some of life's most difficult moments and grateful for every day that follows.
