I haven't skated in 8 months. That's not ok, haha. I'm making a new project called "Jumbo" to motivate me to get out of the house and create something fun with my friends.
I don't explain it too well in the video, so I'll tie up some loose ends here in this description.
With the weekly series I want to show what our sessions are actually like. Most edits are just tricks timed to music. Maybe there is a bit of b-roll of the homies laughing about something, but often times there isn't that much character building.
My favorite parts of the session are usually when we're just sitting around talking with skates on, but those moments are very rarely ever captured.
It's possible that no one will even like this idea and that's fine. I like it, that's why I want to do it.
If you don't like watching random session banter, that's ok too. I still want to continue doing the tutorials, reviews, breakdowns etc.
My friend Heath (who built the DIY in this video) wants to do a series on how to build DIY spots. That's never been done in rollerblading (outside of a box and a p-rail) so I'm excited to do that as well.
Anyways... That's a short breakdown of where my mind is at.
It feels good to be back to making things after this year long hiatus.
