The City of University Place celebrates the community-wide effort that made the new All Inclusive Playground at Cirque Park a reality. Designed to remove physical and social barriers, the playground features a cushioned, rubberized surface for safe access, along with accessible swings, ramps, and sensory-rich play components that support children of all abilities.
The project was made possible through a partnership between the City of University Place, the University Place Parks and Recreation Foundation (UPPRF), and the Cal Ripken, Sr. Foundation, along with grants and private donations from numerous community supporters, including foundations, businesses, and more than 60 individual donors. Their generosity and commitment reflect a shared belief in creating welcoming spaces where every child can play, learn, and connect.
