If there really is a God, how can such bad things happen all around us, and sometimes to us? The 6th-century Christian philosopher Boethius, like us, wrestles with this critical question. In the end, he discovers the astounding truth of how even here, indeed especially here, God is ordering all things for our good. The real question is: what will be our response?
