"This piece presents a musical story made up of disparate characters based on images of everyday life. One character is industrial, repetitive, and perhaps even annoying. Another is slow, ambiguously comical, but also mysterious like an incantation. Another appears only infrequently but makes its presence known through its unique and clumsy sound. In this piece, mechanical characters are pitted against human ones and their stories become intertwined."
