Here is a demonstration of Character Vortex Aura effect I have implemented using unreal engine Niagara effects system and some material effects. Also the project contains not just this, but few other character VFX systems I have demonstrated in this video.

All these Niagara effects are designed to work with any skeletal mesh character. Each system contains a set of customizable variables that you can use to fine tune and get the desired look you are looking for.
