In this first Unreal Beyond video we take a look at how to build the Nvidia RTXGI branch source for Unreal Engine. The RTXGI branch adds global illumination to the engine, making raytraced light less reliant on the hardware and producing cleaner results compared to the official 4.26 raytracing implementation. It's a first look at what we could expect from Unreal Engine 5 when it will be released this year.
Unreal Beyond is a series of videos about new cutting edge features we cannot find in the official Unreal Engine versions we can download from the Epic Launcher. It's a deep dive journey into what will lead us to Unreal Engine 5 and its incredibly promising capabilities.

![Volumetric Clouds in Unreal Engine 4
[UPDATE]
I released a new video showcasing the new BETA 2.0 version that improves Volumetric Clouds almost under every aspect. You can check it in here: https://youtu.be/UdBxn9b2DB8
I did a quick test of the free Volumetric Clouds plugin for Unreal Engine 4 created by Harry Emelianov. Its a really nice blueprint system that lets you play around with a lot of parameters in order to get the exact clouds look you are aiming to.
