Last summer I started using Claude Code through the terminal. And I haven't really gone back.
Something happened that I struggle to put into words. Working with Claude Code in the terminal feels different. More direct, more intimate. Almost more pure.
It's the lack of polish that does it. No buttons to click around, no UI choices someone else made for me. It just feels more truthful.
Every time I start something new, I open a blank terminal tab. I organize the panels as I need. No template someone else envisioned for me.
An intimate connection with the AI, and a blank slate that fits whatever I'm doing. That's why I keep coming back.
