Unplugged Performance Complete Vehicle programs pick up where the Tesla Design Studio leaves off. Much like Porsche’s Special Wishes program, or McLaren’s MSO program, Unplugged Performance’s Complete Vehicle program creates a bespoke experience for the customization of Teslas. This latest Ascension-R is the perfect vision for what a street and track Model 3 should be. From the full Ascension-R aero kit and UP Race Seat to Race Spec Coilovers and Carbon Ceramic Big Brake Kit, this Model 3 is now in a league with GT RS cars.
The Ascension-R is based on the Model 3 Performance, an already impressive sports sedan straight from the factory. With 450hp it’s capable of sprinting to 60 mph in as quick as 3.1 seconds. That’s faster than the fastest M3 and is more on par with a Porsche 911 GT3. But it’s not just acceleration where the M3P shines. It has a near-even weight distribution and a super low center of gravity thanks to the battery packs being located low in the floorboard making it an ideal platform to build upon. And that’s just what Unplugged Performance has done with the Ascension-R.
