The kind of criticism many Christian women endure in marriage didn’t start with their husbands.

It started long before in Sunday school. On the football field. In locker rooms and sermons. It was handed down, spiritualized, and normalized.

This is about more than individual behavior. It’s about the misogyny woven into how many Christian boys are raised and the system that blesses it while women silently suffer the fallout.

This isn’t a rant against men. It’s a call to see what’s really causing the damage so we can stop it from stealing any more lives.
