Brazilian teenager Ana Carolina visits the University of Michigan and gives an emotional talk to students in the Taubman College of Architecture and Urban Planning, thanking them for working with her to improve her neighborhood. She lives in Santa Marta, a shantytown or "favela" community in São Leopoldo near the southern tip of Brazil.
