Stop-Motion Transformation of Unique Toys Y-02 Buzzing. Pretty good Blurr figure. I’ve wanted to catch up on Unique Toys’ older figures so when this came up as a re-release I jumped on it. I think I now have every design they made. It has a surprising number of transformation moves that go 180 degrees - at least until you remember that it’s Unique Toys. It tabs together very tightly, so much so it took me a while to get the leg panels open for the first time. Also where the aerial passes through the backpack wasn’t fitting because the black part that holds the hinge pin for the aerial was a bit too wide. In the course of trying to correct that, I accidentally chipped the tip off of the aerial.

Production Note: The head turn can be pretty challenging. You see, I have the turntable set up with 144 positions. So every time I turn the turntable one notch, that is 1/144 of a turn. To turn the head to match the turntable requires very small movements. Pretty much if I think I didn’t actually turn the head at all, that’s the right amount. I just resisted the temptation to remove all the spaces from my notes to imitate Blurr-speak. Yourewelcomethankyouverymuchforwatching.
