My goal was to find simple EDC items. I hoped I would learn something about why we EDC some things and not others, and how my everyday carry items fit into my personal life. But while what I was searching for was simple EDC items that were both practical and carry-able on an everyday basis, I also found items that were not onlu simple, bit were intriguing and even elegant. Some of these items were unique items that I really hadn't seen before, some of them were amazing and others just didn't meet my needs.
It's interesting that many of the simple everyday carry items ended up being items from the past. My knife design is centuries old and my writing instrument was invented in the 1500s! These everyday carry items from the pages of history have designs that have already stood the test of time.
