Just down the tracks form the Tehachapi Depot and Museum, my guide and local legend Bob, has me trackside at Cable. A nice sounding UP manifest is working hard up grade , as a BNSF train drifts down behind.

$BNSF trains at the Izaak Walton Inn. Montana. One of the highlights of the my trip to the US in 2015 , was staying at the famous Izaak Walton Inn. This was built by the Great Northern Railroad and is a must see for railfans . I spent a week there , and this is a re-edit of only a fraction of the traffic I saw.$
