Union Pacific commemorated the 50th anniversary of its Steam Program with an excursion across Nebraska from Omaha to North Platte on November 13, 2010. The special train was led by 844, the only steam locomotive which was never retired by the railroad. Here we see the long train heading west at North Bend, Nebraska.
