UniFi Access Point Groups allows us to control which of our UniFi Access Points will broadcast which SSID (WiFi Network). Please consider subscribing.
While in most deployments, UniFi Access Point Groups are not often needed, when UniFi Access Point Groups are needed, it is a good thing to know about and configure.
When configured correctly, UniFi Access Point Groups will allow you, for example, to only broadcast guest WiFi in Access Points that are exposed to guest devices or to only broadcast IOT dedicated WiFi to where you have IOT devices. thus minimizing risk of devices connecting from places they shouldn't exist in.
UniFi Access Point Groups is a feature that usually remains a little hidden for most UniFi users and admins. In this video we will try to shed a little more light on this handy feature.
