My dad and i went on a father son fishing trip and found a car on my sonar fish finder! We called it in to the authorities and they came out to help!
This car may be linked to a case that has been on my radar since a friend that i grew up with, that knew her, reached out to me. I told my dad that as well as fishing for stripers we would be clearing a boat ramp for her to help eliminate that ramp as a potential to her disappearance. With my boat and sonar setup also being so new this was also a gear test. Turns out it does work to find underwater fish and structure but there are some things i need to upgrade on my boat to be more efficient.
Part 2 coming soon with DART (drowning accident rescue team) of Sacramento comes out to help. Also part 3 may be coming soon when Nick and I head back to dive this object at the end of the month. If any other teams have the ability to dive this car to help identify if this is Kristines vehicle or not the sooner we can do this for this family the better!
