Despite spending a lot of time filming sonar systems in the past, I had never received a proper step-by-step tutorial on how to use them. Yes I learned the gist, but the menus and settings always seemed quite complex to me.
Jacob Grubbs has shown time and time again his incredible ability to use these sonar systems to locate underwater anomalies. That's why I decided to ask Jacob while we were out on the road to teach me everything he knew about sonar technology.
Jacob patiently guided me through all the menus and settings of my Humminbird system, and showed me how he would recommend I set it up on my own personal fishing boat system. The world of sonar is truly a skill that must be mastered and I definitely feel more confident after this class with Jacob! I am looking forward to continuing to learn and to use these tricks to navigate the waterways in my own backyard.
