One of the reasons Majora’s Mask feels so different from every other Zelda game is because of how it was made.
Nintendo had a very limited development window, and instead of fighting those constraints, they built the entire game around them. The result was one of the most unique and unforgettable adventures in gaming history.
Understanding its development makes you appreciate it even more.
