No matter how long it’s been since you started learning French, it is completely normal to have gaps in your French knowledge — especially when it comes to oral comprehension. That’s because most French teachers and programs put an emphasis on things like vocabulary, conjugation, and grammar, but never really address real, everyday spoken French.
