Hello friends!
I’m Elisabetta, an Italian watercolor artist with a passion and a curiosity for art supplies and pigments.
Today we are swatching and comparing 11 different brands of Ultramarine Violet: Winsor & Newton, Daniel Smith, Rembrandt, Maimeriblu, Sennelier, QOR, Old Holland, Schminke, Blockx, Daler Rowney, Alison C. Board by SAA.

Ultramarine Violet is a granulating, muted violet blue, ideal for portraits, landscapes and florals.

PV15 also has a rose version, but that will be the object of a future video.

I will also try to use it as shading violet in a portrait, for a field test.
