I’m Elisabetta, an Italian watercolor artist with a passion and a curiosity for art supplies and pigments.
Today I'm swatching Natural Magnetite, a very unique black watercolor so rich in iron that can be pushed around with a magnet!
Magnetite can be considered the natural counterpart to PBk11 (Mars Black aka Black Iron Oxide, or Lunar Black for DS). I am comparing the two pigments for you and also, as usual, try a little demonstration sketch as well as some mixes.
