The Sega Genesis and Sega Mega Drive has some of the most iconic music in gaming history. Whilst the SNES brought us closer to what we expect from modern gaming, itโs ended up not really standing out from the crowd. It still has great music, but the Sega Mega Drive is now so iconic that even modern synths have been made to replicate the sound and there are even events where itโs Yamaha processor can be heard blasted across the arena.
