I can't believe it's been nearly 1.5 years since I did the 20m06s and just left it there. Was about time I bothered to finish this. Saving/loading is allowed for Real-Time Attack (RTA), though I never died so loading wasn't necessary, thus I get a single segment deathless run as well which is nice. In-Game Time (IGT) is not used since it's not possible to record all 4 episodes in a single demo.
The reason why it's taken so long for me to do this is because it's a rather unforgiving run with Episode 4 at the end so it's not very fun. I've seen other games with an episode format do them out of order, but that just ain't the right way to do it imo. It all comes down to the cyberdemon at the end of E4M6 if you haven't already lost too much time on E4M1 and E4M2, maybe if you have a good time you get a second chance, but usually the exact same thing happens and you die a few times and get 20:0X at the end.
Episode 1: Slow start, but went pretty ok otherwise. Lost a few seconds on E1M5, but that's to be expected.
Episode 2: Failed the jump on E2M2, it's pretty easy so that's a bit disappointing. Had a good E2M6 with the void glide and a decent switch press to make up for it. First try rocket jump on E2M7 too.
Episode 3: This episode is quite easy, went ok. I grab some extra cells on E3M6 so that I can clear out the lost souls on E3M7 before the exit jump, because it frequently fails because of lost souls.
Episode 4: Took more damage than I would have liked before getting to the rocket launcher on E4M1, but then I took no damage at all so it went really well. E4M2 is always very scary, but nothing went wrong. Cyberdemon didn't kill me immediately on E4M6 so that's as good as it gets. I wanted to load the quicksave just before the rocket jump on E4M8, but I went with it and I'm glad I did. Was close at the end there.

Time to play some doom eternal mods. I tried one mod before this one and it was terrible, it made me question if I had completely lost interest in this game. Fortunately this however was excellent and I really enjoyed it. Havent played since horde mode was released, but I seem to do ok at least.
Some of the arenas have some effect on the player like losing weapons or low ammo, while most have different damaging floors or walls. Accidentally used an old version of this mod, so its probably even better on the latest version.
Id like to never use the chaingun shield again, to help with that Ive switch to mobile turret, which of course is useless so youll probably never see the chaingun again :) ... or maybe Ill start using it just for fun some day.
I should also get my eyes checked, because a few times I mistook a quad powerup for an eyeball turret.
Not sure if Ill upload more, but since Ive never actually ran around in the battlemode levels before I figured some might find this mod interesting like I did.
Restrictions: deathless with no chaingun shield, no bfg and no crucible/hammer. No other mods active as far as Im aware and I never use any scripts/macros.

These are all Tool-Assisted Speedruns (TAS) where I do frame by frame inputs for 2-3 players (Coop). They are done on UV difficulty and without harming any monsters (UV-Pacifist).
Nobody has ever shown a demo of this trick before, though xepop and looper have done similar things a few years ago. I found a few useful places for it so I figured Id make some uv-pacifist coop tases :)
E1M6: 2 player coop in 19 seconds - Its possible to do a void glide without much difficulty on this map. Both players go out of bounds and go to the exit area where 1 player has to do a 32 units glide. Then they both have to have very specific positions which will allow 1 of them to go back in bounds by simply running against the wall. This is possible because the corner on the inside of the map is larger than 90 degrees, but less than 135 degrees.
E3M1: 3 player coop in 13 seconds - Here I need 2 players to go out of bounds while 1 player helps them get out by positioning himself almost 32 units away from the corner. This could be done with a monster instead of a 3rd player, but for simplicity I use 3 players.
Plutonia Map 22: 3 player coop in 10 seconds - Pretty much identical to E3M1.
Doom II Map 28: 2 player coop with turbo in 5 seconds - This is done using turbo values to get out of bounds, that is the movement speed has been increased. It is possible to get out of bounds here without turbo by using a rocket boost, but that requires a lot of health and a rocket launcher, so to simplify things I used turbo.
It is possible to do this without coop too, but then you would need a lost soul which is the only monster that can get out of bounds. This is done by killing a pain elemental close to wall, which then spawns 3 lost souls. If the pain elemental is positioned correctly he will send a lost soul out of bounds and it can be used instead of the second player.
Now Doom 1 doesnt have pain elementals, but this would work for a Doom II TAS of map 28 without coop.

Taras Nabad is a new official Master Level, heres my first UNM clear.
That could have gone better. Second attempt as I got cornered like an idiot down in the sewers on my first attempt. This attempt wasnt pretty, had to resort to a BFG on the double arch-vile encounter in the sewer and crucible on the triple tyrants as I was quite sure I was too low on ammo, and on my nightmare playthrough I barely had enough and I saw no fodder, so I decided to just slice them down.
The timing of the release could not have been worse, the sun is directly in my window + I was watching uefa euro 2020 at the same time, so all mistakes I made I blame on that :)
Definitely the most difficult official doom eternal content yet imo. I was hoping there wouldnt be too much of the smoke filled rooms like in super gore nest, thankfully it was restricted to some parts of the arenas which was much better.

Description:
The hardest void glide ever discovered.
I have long suspected that a void glide might have been possible here. However, none of the walls have anything in common with any void glide ever done before, so it wasnt too unreasonable to assume it might just be impossible.
The recent Courtyard void glide through the door however showed what a larger momentum boost can do which gave hope for these types of angles. Since the wall isnt axis aligned it extends the required distance for doomguy to move before he no longer overlaps with the wall, in this case by at least 16/104*32 (=4.923) units. So the total distance to move is 36.923 units if one could somehow move exactly along the x axis to the left.
What usually happens when you perform a void glide is that you move very fast in both the X and Y direction, in this case you have to move in the negative x and negative y direction and the void glide might be impossible if you too far in the negative y direction as it extends the required movement in the negative x direction by too much. But it turns out that there is a coordinate that actually allows for movement only along the negative x direction, which is if doomguys upper right corner is perfectly on top of the corner vertex.
However, that is only half the story. If you were to place yourself at this exact position you would have no way to be able to build up momentum towards the wall you are trying to go through, as any movement would slide you along the wall itself. There is of course only one solution to this, which is to have something block your movement, namely a monster. Though the massive problem is that its incredibly difficult to manipulate monster movement to such precision. You dont want the monster to block the position you are trying to reach, and if it is a small distance away then you will always slide along the wall.
Trying to pull this off with monsters was complete hell. Geting anything to stand in a certain area is extremely annoying, and then having to check over and over again if you can move yourself to the exact coordinate while getting punched in the face only adds to the frustration. But, with enough dice rolls it eventually worked.
So with the perfect position and the momentum buildup doomguy here moves a distance of 36.936 units, only 0.013 units above the minimum requirement, and goes through the wall. This is basically impossible without TAS.
I still have some new tricks to show off that I discovered several months ago for ultimate doom, but itll be part of a longer TAS demo, which I hope to finish some day.

Description:
This is a built demo, meaning each of the 7339 frames were entered manually. Some sections take quite a bit of effort to get right for several reasons including: monster manipulation, wallruns and momentum conservation, linedef skips, void glides and other misc things.
Ive been wanting to do an episode 1 TAS for a long time, because some time ago I discovered some new tricks that wouldnt be useful outside of a TAS.
E1M1: First I had to overcome the roadblock which is E1M1 in 7 seconds. Incredibly annoying to pull off, the wallruns at the start were hard to get right and getting around the monsters in the acid room was very time consuming. Fortunately I had no trouble grabbing the shotgun once I did manage to get to the second last door quick enough.
E1M2: The start was difficult, getting the wallruns and getting to the red key... but worst of all was going down those stairs, took so much effort to get it looking ok. I then had massive issues getting past some of the zombieguys for some reason, the rest was easy fortunately, only needed a lot of re rolls to get the needed monster movement in the last room.
E1M3: Figured the most difficult parts were done after E1M1, even thinking I could perhaps save 2 seconds on this level... but no, making it to the blue key was not too bad, but getting back through the hallway was absolute hell. Hallway blocked by imps, couldnt keep good momentum going through the hitscanners, if I could get through I would get blocked by the shotgunner by the door, and if I got past him I got blocked by the spectre instead. Eventually I managed to get through, but then I had an imp infront of the fence blocking a wallrun, and having lost too much time already I had to go back and re roll again.
E1M4: I saw no way of saving a second on this level. 9 seconds would be easy if you could somehow get the pinky to open the door for you, so who knows.
E1M5: It took a little bit of time to get the start smoothly, then once I was going to go up the stairs I was getting blocked by the imp and zombieguy. I had no ways of manipulating them so I ended up running around the imp at the bottom of the stairs so I could shoot earlier upstairs. I got all the way to the rocket launcher without any trouble and I was surprised that I finally had some luck going my way. Of course the door into the next area was closed and nothing was even close to opening that door. I decided to go again and the part where I was frustrated with the imp and zombieguy blocking my path no longer mattered, as I needed to get close to the window to wake up some monsters to open the door for me and so running around the zombieguy was fine.
Getting up to the secret area went rather smoothly, I think I got lucky by getting past the pinkies with some nice momentum so easily, but I dunno, could probably have been faster. Then theres the new E1M5 trick, going out of bounds and back in bounds almost immediately to save roughly 5 seconds total.
E1M6: I start with a linedef skip on the lowering wall and use a shotgunner to block it on the way back. I manage to reach yellow key a bit more quickly with the rocket launcher from E1M5, and then I use the new skip to go through the fence and save over a second. Some crazy speed, maxed out at 30 in both x and y direction and it lasts quite a while since Im in the air.
E1M7: Thought this level would be easy and Id get through it quickly... that probably would have been true if I didnt decide to go for a second improvement. The 3 areas that consumed the most time was the hallway after the big lift on the way to red key, the red key area and the entire last area. I wasnt expecting a couple of shotgunners to idle on the elevator, I was planning on firing a rocket towards the imps in the last area which would have been a massive help considering how long time that took to do, but that didnt look possible without losing time.
E1M8: Uses a void glide which is similar to E1M5, and with the more recent nomonsters trick it saves a lot of time by not having to wait for the pinky to do the void glide and it also being a more direct route to the exit.
