This is a very personal portrait of Ulrike Meinhof which explores her character and motivations through interviews with those who knew her well. As a child, the household of Timon Koulmasis was close to the household of Ulrike Meinhof and Klaus Röhl, and he was friends with Bettina Röhl, their daughter. This film is framed as a letter to Bettina. Before the marriage of Bettina's parents broke up, her father, Klaus Röhl, was already the lover of Timon's mother, Danae Coulmas. Timon's father, Peter Coulmas (born Koulmasis) and Bettina's father, Klaus Röhl, both appear in this documentary.
