If you're looking at taking our 35 liter Photon out on a jaunt through bear country, the BV425 will fit the best INSIDE the pack.
Whether a weekender or a multi-day trip, the Photon has you covered in ultralight travel offering 35 liters of storage at just 27 ounces in our @challengesailcloth Ultra version shown here.
With the removable hipbelt out of the equation, you'll save an additional 8 ounces, bringing it down to 19 ounces for a medium torso.
If you find yourself carrying a larger bear canister than the BV425, the top strap on top of the pack will enable you to comfortably secure the load.
