Our fifth episode of Ukraine Through the Eyes of Reporters features Wolfgang Schwan, a photographer who’s been in Ukraine for a year now, working for the Anadolu and Wired agency. In this interview, he shares his thoughts on the role of photography in the time of war, reflects on the experience of creating one of the first viral photos depicting a Russian missile attack on civilians as well as discusses how the Russian propaganda machines uses real photos to create disinformation.
