Living in a motorhome full-time means my internet has to work everywhere I do, all around the UK, Europe, showgrounds, campsites in the middle of nowhere, everywhere so in this video I'm walking you through my whole setup that keeps me and the land yacht connected and online.
It's not the ultimate guide, I'm not a guru, and I don't really know what I'm doing half the time but this is what works for me.
I get into the kit, the router priority, the campsite Wi-Fi trick, and why I run everything through a VPN when I'm on a field full of strangers all sharing the same connection.
I go through all the speed tests too sim cards, starlink, site Wi-Fi, hotspot and then I show you a speed test from my place in Vietnam that made me want to cry about how bad the UK is.
I talk about how I pushed my data so hard they just turned me off a few months ago, showing how much unlimited data really is....two terabytes! Whoops haha!
And finally I show you all the numbers, the monthly cost, the hardware costs I nearly forgot to mention, and how much power the whole lot drags out of my batteries every single day. Fair warning, it's not cheap but like I've said most of you won't need anything like this setup.
