In this week’s video, I stayed at the Woodhall Spa site as part of the @CampandCaravanning Club’s “Summer of Why Not?” campaign.

Let’s just say... it didn’t get off to the smoothest start, but it quickly turned into one of the most memorable stays I’ve had in a long time!

From watching a film in a vintage woodland cinema (complete with intermission!) to visiting the Petwood Hotel, which was once home to the Dambusters, this trip was full of surprises.

There’s even an old RAF firing wall still standing on-site and a pond that was apparently created by a bomb. That bit’s unconfirmed though, so if any of you know the local history, I’d love to hear more.

This is the summer of ‘why not?’ so now I challenge you to try something new!
