The University of Kentucky’s Community Innovation Lab has opened a new dedicated space in Lexington, creating a more visible and accessible home for students, faculty and community partners.
Housed within the UK Martin-Gatton College of Agriculture, Food and Environment and the UK College of Education, the lab connects students from across disciplines with real-world community challenges. Through hands-on projects, students work alongside community partners to build skills, strengthen relationships and develop solutions that serve Kentucky.
The new facility gives the lab a “front door” for collaboration and expands opportunities for community-based learning, multidisciplinary partnerships and lasting impact.
