Why are we out here doing beaver stuff in the first place?
When our projects impact wetlands, we’re required to replace them. But instead of just “checking the box,” we teamed up with Utah DWR and the U.S. Forest Service to try something bigger: Beaver Dam Analogs (BDAs).
These structures slow down water and sediment before it reaches Strawberry Reservoir, which means cleaner water for fish, healthier vegetation along the stream, and more thriving wetland habitat.
Pretty dam cool if you ask us.
