Food, fun, and comradery - all in a day's work for the Utah Cultural Site Stewardship Program! Stewards recently had the opportunity to participate in a book club highlighting “Old Spanish Trail: Santa Fe to Los Angeles” by LeRoy and Ann Hafen. The Old Spanish Trail passes through the state of Utah, and several important historical sites along it are monitored by our program volunteers. Reading and discussing this book together provided some great learning opportunities, and more importantly, some great company! We want to extend a huge shout out to the Moab Museum for hosting our book club dinner and presentation.
