Rogelio Castillo, a fourth year UC Davis student, did not expect undergraduate research to open a path for him to create change in his community.

Rogelio first witnessed the debilitating injuries as a result from labor intensive work in his own community of Lindsay, CA, a small city in the Central Valley. His fascination with how the human body moves and heals plus his passion for his community has led him to conducting research at UC Davis.
