The UC Veterinary Medical Center, San Diego has operated as a satellite of the UC Davis William R. Pritchard Veterinary Medical Teaching Hospital for more than 25 years. This center is currently under construction and will open in summer 2026 as a significantly expanded, state-of-the-art facility. Upon opening, the center will be known as the Janice K. Hobbs UC Davis Veterinary Medical Center Southern California.
