If you grab the statue right as it is about to hop, you can store that hop for when you let go of the statue (by pressing B, pulling out the leaf, or being damaged).

This is RNG hell but its possible. Shoutouts to bowserisbored and MrAlberto who came up with the idea. It took me a while to get the correct punch from Puppet Ganon.
This is really good knowledge to have for TWWHD TASing (where storage is not possible). This also makes the PST category of TWW (GC) possible in 3 pauses (since AU is not allowed for trials skip, the last equip is hookshot + iron boots + deku leaf, and you have to do this trick to skip PG).")
