[2] most of this song does not involve actual subjects (as is usually the case for JP, but more noticeable in lyrics/poetry structure like this) - the we/I/me/it/etc is generally my interpretation as necessary for English structure. Ill note where this is not the case!
[3] this is likely a play on words - the verb here 照らして means both illuminate/shine and comparatively so this could alternately be read ...are faraway prayers / compared to the crimson
[4] These lines all specifically use 僕 / I (non-plural)
[5] another play on words - flourishing here is 華やぐ which means a variety of bright / gorgeous / brilliant / showy / colorful / prosperous. An alternate spelling (and one that I think theyd use, if they had written lyrics here) is 花やぐ - using the same 花 for flower as the citys name, 花の街 / City of Flowers
[6] this is a common trope in JP songs - theyre singing tomorrow but use the kanji for future.
