Two-photon imaging of microglial process motility/growth before and after glutamate application  @ScientificaUk

This short two-photon video clip shows changes in microglia (GFP, green) process extension motility towards neurons (YFP, red) as a result of the application of glutamate to a hippocampal brain slice. This mimics levels of glutamate in the brain after hyperactivity such as an epileptic seizure.
