Two farms near Parowan and Paragonah are reporting a series of burglaries, and local officials are asking for the public's help.

"Two farms have had a significant amount of property stolen over the past few days," Paragonah Mayor Dakota Veater said in a video posted on Facebook Wednesday night.

Chuck Bentley Farm in Paragonah and Roy Adams Farm in Parowan, both of which grow alfalfa, reported stolen equipment.

"They got through his locked gate (at Chuck Bentley's farm)," Veater said. "They kicked in a door and stole all his tack, saddles and even curry combs."
