Welcome to part one of a two part episode of a hike from Machynlleth to Aberystwyth along both the Glyndwrs Way and the Wales Coastal Path.
Again, massive thank you to 'Dave Outdoors' for suggesting the route and making it happen.
It was an amazing journey through forests, over hills, crossing rivers, estuaries, wildlife reserves and then out to the coast and along the cliff tops!
We stumbled upon a perfect wild camp location and we treated to a warm and still evening where we watched the sun go down over the Aberdovey and Ynyslas estuary. What could possibly go wrong!!!!

As I mentioned during the walk, for me was a training exercise for an upcoming expedition to walk the Great Glen Way in Scotland to raise monies for Cleobury Compassionate Communities so please head on over to the Just Giving Page and ‘throw us a bone’.
