A father and son will face charges including aggravated assault after allegedly setting off a "signal cannon" in Cooper Street Park in Manville just after 8 p.m. on July 6. The instrument, which originally was believed to be an "improvised firework device, cause a violent explosion that wounded a 34-year-old man who was flown to a nearby hospital.
