Search and recovery efforts are ongoing after more than 20 people went unaccounted for following flash flooding that moved through Bright Angel Canyon and Phantom Ranch in Grand Canyon National Park.
Early Monday morning, park officials said two bodies had been recovered. One victim, identified as a 46-year-old man, was found near Crystal Rapids along the Colorado River on Sunday evening. Identifying details of the second victim recovered have not been publicly released.
Meanwhile, the National Park Service said it was conducting an air evacuation of about 50 people from the Phantom Ranch area.
