It's almost over.
In this Twitch Stream VOD, I finish off the exploration and side quests for the new region/area in Luna 4's Nod Krai.
This ended up being surprisingly effecient.
Key take aways:
I was a little disappointed that, if you didn't do the Illuga non-voiced quest first, your dialogue with him in the voiced quest doesn't change (the one where you turn in the sigils to upgrade the compass).
Instead, Paimon and Traveler act like they've met before which is strange.
It turns out, you introduce yourselves to him officially in an earlier area.
I did enjoy the puzzles, they were unique and different but in a good way.
The music is always good in Nod Krai (especially that one song in the new artifact Domain).
Varka is funny.
You either need Varka (Boreas knight) for the Wolf Local Legend or I missed something... If you need Varka, then that's silly...
I liked the danger aspect of the top most area. Reminded be of Dragonspine and I hope we get more stuff like that to where you have to think about the team you're using or mechanics of the region.
Kind of wish there were more Occulai. When I was finished, I didn't have any extra.
They probably could have released 1 or two of the islands with each patch rather than all 3 in one update.
- This also would have made us meet Illuga in the second area rather than mistakenly meet him for the first time near the top for just wanting to get teleport points first...
New enemies are interesting and, we finally got real wolves! (not just in Razor's home either even though we saw them there first).
With Welken, daily commisions, and fully exploring the new region, you can save up to 50 pulls in Primos alone.
