Twitch is a garbage platform that through all the drama and horrible decisions made by Twitch staff and leadership is self-destructing on a nearly daily basis. For the past week Twitch has been absolutely drowning in controversy from Pokimane calling for Twitch to ban gambling, Mizkif being involved in serious allegations and a supposed coverup, to a a streamer scamming $300K from fans, to now Twitch coming out and dropping their revenue split to 50/50 meaning streamers earn 30% less on twitch than they do on youtube. Overall Twitch is a horrible place to be a content creator and is basically digging its own grave at this point with YouTube rapidly growing in the live video market.
