My Xbox Games Showcase 2024 Reaction and review. Overall I thought this show was okay. Not Great, but not bad, just kind of mediocre. Microsoft has a common problem of not really showing any sort of gameplay at these events instead favoring cinematic trailers and cutscenes with very few release dates or even release years and in most cases a complete lack of new information (Fable, State of Decay 3, Avowed, Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, etc...) You also have woke games like South of Midnight being developed by Sweet Baby Inc.. Highlights for me were definitely Gears of War E-Day ( I am so glad they decided to not make Gears of War 6) & DOOM the Dark Ages which looks absolutely amazing. Overall I thought the show flowed well but I was really left wanting more gameplay from the games I cared about or the games that are supposed to be releasing in 2024. As for the Call of Duty Black Ops 6 Direct...well its Call of Duty and if you like Treyarch CoD you will like this.
