I can NOT believe I actually finished this!! I started this back in March or whenever the DVD was released and had every intention of making this my first 'Twilight' video. However, I lost inspiration as I was making this (horrible, I know, lol). But it's still my first Edward & Bella video.
Okay, so I saw the midnight showing of 'Twilight' last year having not read the books yet. The movie impressed me enough to read the books (mainly because I saw it with a bunch of people who read the books and were verbally comparing things to the books while watching the movie so it got me curious, lol). So the next day I ran out and bought the series and fell in love with it! Edward Cullen has my heart. While the movie is not as awesome as the book, I still love it because it is one of the few that stays true to the book and it even makes great use of actual quotes from the book. With this video I wanted to capture the feel you get reading the book. Robert Pattinson does an excellent job with Edward's character but Edward Cullen is SO much more than you get in the movie. His love for Bella just pulls you in and you feel like you're Bella reading the book, lol. Now I know this vid is far from having that effect but I wanted to at least give those of you who've only seen the movie a feel of what the books are like. I tried to match the scenes and quotes according to the chapter in the book they occurred in.
This song is one of my all time favorite songs. I have been wanting to vid it forever but it's one of those songs that I love SO much it's extremely hard to vid. I hope I did it justice, I know I cut it short but there wasn't enough footage to stretch it to the end while still matching the beats and not repeating scenes (although I might have accidentally done so once or twice). I just think this song is SO perfect for Edward's view of Bella. For those of you who didn't read the book, he actually wrote her a song and that's the song he's playing at "I wrote a song for you." Just all the lyrics scream Edward & Bella to me! I tried to use all their moments in the right places and I even used 2 deleted scenes but there is NO New Moon footage in this video. I wanted to keep it mainly Twilight. Once New Moon is out on DVD I will make a solely New Moon video. I hope I'll be able to vid the saga more. If the right song comes along, who knows, lol. Anyway, to prove you read this description please include the term 'Spider-monkey' in your comment :)
I'd like to dedicate this video to CatAtak12. Thank you for talking 'Twilight' with me because it sparked inspiration to finish this sucker, lol. I have had the hardest time finishing it. I would literally stare at the screen for 10 minutes and not be able to add ANYTHING. But somehow geeking out about the series with you sparked my motivation! I also have to thank SweetBrooke23 for giving me the download link for the movie and luvtheheaven for reviewing parts of it when I started this project :)
I also want to dedicate this video in memory of my late grandmother. She didn't watch 'Twilight' but today's her birthday so I am happy to be able to post something today of all days :)

OMG! I FINALLY finished this!! I started this project just after Idol aired over a year ago! Its original premise was what would happen if Lois hadnt been saved by the Wonder Twins and Clark lost her. Grim, I know...its how my brain works sometimes, LOL. Anywho, I lost inspiration along the way and at some point this vid lost a purpose. But over the weekend I found out that I made it through to the FINAL round of marimillas Vidders Tournament and the challenge was to make a video thatll make her cry. Now I have cried numerous times making this, the song is just SO DAMN SAD! (Thats part of why I lost inspiration, I just couldnt add more without breaking down, lol). So I figured this was the perfect time to finish this video and I got inspiration and found a higher purpose for this video in the process :)
Basically the story is Lois dies that day on the roof to protect Clark and keep him from revealing himself to the cameras. This leaves Clark with a heavy burden of guilt on his shoulders and he must find a way to move past his loss but his memories haunt him until he is finally able to find peace and use Lois memory as strength to be the hero he needs to be. I twisted the Smallville story line so that they were married before she died. Just to clarify that proposal flashback :)
A little fun fact is that this project is the basis for the fanfic Im writing. Of course, I changed the plot a bit because I always did intend on finishing this video but the premise of Clarks grief is there. And, for those of you who follow my fanfic, I assure you the next chapter will be up soon. Ive been SO incredibly busy and not always inspired to write lately but I have ONE more scene to get through and then itll be up! But since you have waited SO patiently, a little hint at the next chapter...one of the issues dealt with is covered in this vid...thats all I can give away at this point.

Now for the dedication...This video is dedicated to my AT (Awesome Twin) CatAtak12! When I started making this I had shown her a bunch of my unfinished projects and I remember her saying of all of them she wanted this one to be finished first...sorry it took so long but its here! I did it! I NEVER give up on my projects! LOL.

Well what do we have here? A new video?? Thats right, this girl got something done...FINALLY!!
A while back I entered this contest for shows that have ended. I liked the concept and thought it might be a good motivator to get me to edit more. I made it to round 1 and the assignment was to make a trailer for the series. Simple enough, right? WRONG! Life kept getting in the way of me and my editing time. I had to ask for a few extensions and, bless their hearts, lifexintechnicolour and xfoxyamanda11 granted me them. I hope this video was worth the wait!
I was originally going to make a SMALLVILLE trailer but, with all the excitement for this shows planned sequel, I decided to honor one of my other favorite shows of ALL time...BOY MEETS WORLD! I chose to edit this from the standpoint of the penultimate episode of the series...as if next week were the original airing of the series finale. I wanted to best capture the feel of the show and its sentimental value to me...hope I succeeded :)

OMG! We FINALLY finished this project!! Its been so long I dont even really remember when exactly we started it but its been a good couple of months, lol. Both Jade and I have been lacking in the inspiration department, especially for this show since its over and all that sad jazz, but we were determined not to leave this project of ours in the pile of unfinished projects! Its just too awesome to have let it go, lol.
Jade picked the song this time, split it up and did the coloring because she is awesome like that! I have to say this is one of our best collaborations! I still have a soft spot for our Marchin On video as my favorite one but this comes awful close! Both videos, in my opinion, have awesome flow and even I get lost sometimes in telling who did which part, haha. Hope you all like this :)

I love when we collaborate and hope we can again (if not on Smallville on a different show maybe) but with real life getting in the way for both of us I understand if we cant.
