So for the first order of business I have to say that the Twilight Saga has become quite an obsession in my life. Probably the biggest obsession since my teeny-bopper years loving the Backstreet Boys, haha. Anyway, just thought I'd put that out there. I am Team Edward. I won't be vidding Team Jacob (sorry).

Now for the second order of business. So I made it through to the next round for the Imagination of the Soul (So You Think You Can Vid) Challenge at DGA. The assignment for this round was to pick one of the 10 or so couples they listed and make an AU vid of them. Out of the list, my options were narrowed between Heroes, Pirates of the Caribbean and Twilight. Well needless to say I chose Twilight, lol. The pairing for that choice was Bella and Carlisle.

I didn't want my first 'Twilight' video to be an AU vid but since the Twilight projects I've been working on don't seem to be near finishing anytime soon and there is a deadline for the contest, this is how it has to be, lol.

So I brainstormed for days on what kind of story I could build around Bella and Carlisle - a very unique and challenging couple, lol. The rules were no love triangles so that made it harder. The majority of Bella's scenes contain Edward and Carlisle is only in a quarter of the movie. This proved challenging but I think I came up with a good storyline. I had to employ the New Moon Trailer (thank you FOREVERCLOIS21 for sending me the download link btw) and I ripped the deleted scenes from 'Twilight.' So please bear with me and believe that it's' Bella kissing Carlisle instead of Edward and Carlisle kissing and biting Bella instead of Esme. It's the best I could do to infer a relationship, lol. So onto the story...

Bella Swan moves to Forks, Washington, to live with her father, Charlie. There she meets and befriends Edward Cullen. Edward stops a van from hitting Bella and while at the hospital she meets Dr. Carlisle Cullen. Bella can't stop thinking about Carlisle. He's in her dreams and soon their relationship grows bigger than just doctor/patient. Edward is concerned about his fellow vampire dating his new friend and tells Bella that if she's smart she'll end things with Carlisle. Bella figures out the Cullens' secret and wants to be like them. Edward, not wanting his friend to be eternally damned like he feels he is, warns her against that life. Bella doesn't listen so Edward approaches Charlie, who already thinks Carlisle is too old for his daughter, and fills him in on Bella and Carlisle's plan to change her. While Charlie is trying to talk some sense into Bella, Edward warns Carlisle to back off and not change Bella. When Carlisle refuses Edward approaches James, a Tracker, to help take Carlisle down, believing that is the only way to stop Bella from becoming a vampire. Meanwhile, Carlisle and Bella decide to run away. Edward and James search for them and James finds her in a Ballet Studio in Phoenix, Arizona. Getting a whiff of her scent, James decides he wants her blood. Reading James' mind, Edward realizes his plan backfired and rushes to Bella's rescue. Amidst a battle to the death fight, James is able to bite Bella which starts the changing process. Carlisle and the rest of the Cullens, who had been searching for Bella with Edward, find them and help Edward defeat James. Edward and Carlisle rush to Bella's side and Edward sucks the venom out in hopes of stopping the change...Successfully stopping the change, Edward feels a tremendous amount of guilt for having nearly gotten Bella killed he decides to leave and promises she'll never have to see him again. So Bella and Carlisle continue on to leading the life they both wanted together and forever....

Sorry for the long story. It's just for in case you didn't understand what all was happening, lol. Just keep in mind that Edward is just Bella's friend. There is no romance there at all in this story. But I WILL be making Edward/Bella vids. I have a few in the making but they'll be here eventually :)
