Like I said in the description for my last video, I was lucky enough to go to Comic Con this year. While I was there I got to see the Smallville panel and Justin Hartley was among the stars from 'Smallville' to appear. Seeing him in person and learning what is to come for the Green Arrow inspired me to make a character vid for him. Thanks to luvtheheaven for all her song suggestions, I chose this song because it truly fits what he stands for.
Oliver Queen, a.k.a. the Green Arrow, wants to save people and make a name for himself. He is always pushing Clark to do more than sit on a farm playing house. Oliver believes that people gifted as he and Clark are should be out there saving the world. This video demonstrates his feelings for that. However motivated Oliver is to save the world he also wants it all. He wants a love life but he understands that his responsibilities to the world come first.
Given that Justin Hartley has only been in 7 aired episodes so far, I was limited to clips in this video. I never repeated the same parts of scenes although I did use almost every scene he's been in, lol. I also broadened the video to include the Justice League members who have also appeared on the show in relation to Oliver.
I tried to match each lyric as best contextually and literally as possible. For the "you're gonna bring yourself down" parts I showed the relationships these characters have been in because like Oliver says at the beginning of this video, you can't sit curled on a couch while trouble stirs outside your front door.

Okay Absolute Justice was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!! I knew the second it started that Id have to vid it! OMG! Words cant even describe the EPICNESS this episode was! As soon as it ended I went on my iTunes and as fate would have it, this song was the first to come up and I knew it was perfect! I had to cut the song a bit short because not all the lyrics fit and Id rather make a short awesome vid than a longer not-so-awesome vid, haha.
Alright, so Im not a comic book reader. Have never actually read a comic other than Garfield, Family Circus or the ones that come in Bazooka Bubble Gum, lol. But I do love the comic book world from what I have seen. Ive seen all the Superman and Batman movies, have watched some of the JSA and JLA cartoons from time to time. So I have a basic idea of it all, lol. I knew as Clark was reading off the names that they were big and important and it got me all excited! And I was super giddy when they showed Green Lanterns lantern and later the ring because I actually was able to name the hero based on an object (yes his name was on the plaque but I was far too distracted with the excitement to notice, haha). But I must admit the only reason I really recognized that was because of Sheldon from The Big Bang Theory, LOL.
But seriously, this episode was by far one of the COOLEST of the series! Definitely one of my all time faves, hehe. Its getting harder and harder to choose a favorite episode this season. I still ADORE Idol and Pandora but this blows my mind in a different way. With everything that happened how can we NOT get a season 10?! WE NEED A SEASON 10!!! Im SO fascinated with the Suicide Squad thing now, lol. Theres no way they can wrap that up by the season 9 finale!
Okay so this is my second episodic video (first was my OTH 611 episodic vid present for luvtheheaven3 a little over a year ago). I know I didnt get a lot of Tess in there but she wasnt in a lot of the episode anyway. I did try to get everyone who appeared in the episode in while catching the main points. It was hard to not focus on Hawkman because the song fit him most of all I felt, lol. Speaking of Hawkman, how AWESOME was he?! OMG! I want him to come back for sure!! Him and Dr. Fate! I think Chloe will be our next Dr. Fate tho...at least I hope :)
Now for the special mentions portion of my description. Thank you chels125843 and pavrithrakent88 for all the support on Twitter. I swear, you tell one person youre making a vid and all of a sudden the whole YouTube community knows about it, haha. Its all good tho! I wouldnt tweet if I didnt want people knowing what I was doing, hehe. Thanks also to luvtheheaven3 and CatAtak12 for reviewing parts of this vid! And thank you jaderoyale for the finishing vibes! That shit is awesome and has worked twice for me so far :)

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MARISSA!!! Sorry this is late but its still in the right month, right? LOL.
So it was meesa96s birthday on July 26th and I really wanted to make her something. Shes always SO nice to me and comments on ALL my vids so in my opinion she deserves an AWESOME video present from me! I did start this before her birthday but Comic Con engulfed a LOT of my time and I just couldnt finish on time. But I worked my ass off in the last 2 days and got this baby done! I hope Marissa likes it :)
Ive had this song pegged for Smallvilles cast for a while. I used to LOVE DuckTales growing up, Ive seen the movie like a million times and I own the first volume of the series. I just love it! But listening to the theme song I couldnt help but think of Smallville with lines like racecars, aeroplanes and seems like theyre heading for the final curtain..I just had to make it! And I was in the mood for a fun cast video. This was pure fun to make and for the first time I vidded the seasons 2 and 3 gag reels. The song called for it in its instrumental interlude, lol. As with all my cast videos, I tried to get every recurring character and relationship in. I know Alicia only has one shot in here, I do apologize for that, but at least shes in there right? Haha. I tried to vary it as much as possible and I hope I succeeded. I also tried to get all 196 episodes in but I know I fell short but not by much :)
