The story of a singing waiter turned radio star who falls in love with a fellow radio performer, only to have their marriage plans temporarily thwarted; of course, everything works out in the end. "I'll String Along With You" by Dick Powell from the film is the background music. Warner Brothers remade this film in 1949 as "My Dream Is Yours".
