In the January meeting of the Public Services working group, the presenters were Dr. Marilena Pavel, associate professor of Department of Control and Simulation, Faculty of Aerospace Engineering, at the Delft University of Technology (TU Delft), and Johnny Doo, president of International Vehicle Research, Inc. They presented a white paper "eVTOL for Wildfire Management and Response." The group discussed how to learn from the devastating wildfires in the Los Angeles area and how advanced air mobility technology and operations could be used to make a difference.
