The June meeting of the VFS Commercial Air Transport (CAT) working group featured a presentation from Michael Thompson, CEO of Skyfly Technologies. His company develops the Skyfly Axe, a two-seat electric vertically capable aircraft, which will be at the EAA AirVenture event in Oshkosh in July. Crafted from lightweight carbon fibre with a focus on performance, safety, and low noise, the Axe is targeted at multiple markets including private aviation, flight training, defence & surveillance, and emergency services.
